What is Link Building?

Link Building is one of the SEO techniques that aim to reduce the Bounce Rate (visitors come and go directly) by linking internal links that have a relationship to an article. The goal is also to increase rankings on google search.

What kind of link that we build?

We will build Internal Links taken from another article on Channel-Korea.com, which is related to both Outbound Links and Inbound Links. The main keywords must be related to links from other related articles, as in the example below.

On "Red Velvet Members" articles, some words contain members of Red Velvet like Irene, Seulgi, Joy, Wendy, and Yeri. In that word, you can input each member's profile which is related to each other.

Link Juice

Link juice is used in the SEO world to refer to the value or equity passed from one page or site to another. This value is passed through hyperlinks. Search engines see links as votes by other websites that your page is valuable and worth promoting.

As you can see in the image above is an example of Link Juice, where you will find articles that help each other. Both articles that already have good traffic or old articles that help with the latest articles and articles with small demand help articles with great demand.

Link Building Best Practices

There are several Link Building Best Practices that you can do to maximize the Link Building method. And I will explain more to you.

1. Create text links using anchor text

You’re familiar with anchor text. An anchor text is the word or words linked to another page, and they typically appear as blue text to the reader.

• Wendy likes all kind of music.
• All of Red Velvet members said that Wendy is the healthiest member.
• Wendy has the ability to speak in 4 languages, Korean, English, French, and Spanish.
• Although she has 4 languages abilities, she really wants to learn Japanese and Chinese so that she can communicate with fans.
• Other than language, she also wants to learn drums and jazz bass.

As you can see, several words are entered as URL links; it is an example of anchor text that can be applied to Channel-Korea.com. Of course, looking for the article's link must also be related to the words we want to include in the narrative text. Your internal links should use anchor text, but not just any anchor text will do. I recommend linking where you are using phrases that describe what the target link is about.

2. Link from New page to Old one

To provide support between articles, it's good to provide link building for new articles and old articles. Because new articles can also help rankings from old articles, and old articles can boost the ranking of new articles. Providing conversion links to old pages with large traffic is certainly very profitable and has a big impact on new articles. 3. Put Links High Up On Your Page

Referring to Google Support, A bounce is a single-page session on your site. In Analytics, a bounce is calculated specifically as a session that triggers only a single request to the Analytics server, such as when a user opens a single page on your site and then exits without triggering any other requests to the Analytics server during that session.

Bounce rate is single-page sessions divided by all sessions or the percentage of all sessions on your site in which users viewed only a single page and triggered only a single request to the Analytics server. As we know, one way to avoid bounce rates is to provide links to other articles so that readers can read longer on our website, as in the example below.

From the example above, we can see that we will invite readers to explore further other articles about BTS Members, which will keep readers on Channel-Korea.com longer.

4. Don’t Use The Same Anchor Text For Two Different Pages

This confuses the heck out of Google. For example, let’s say you have two pages on your site.

One is about grain-free chocolate chip cookies. And the other is about low-carb chocolate chip cookies.

Well, you wouldn’t want to link to both pages with the same anchor text:

When Google sees that, they think that both pages are on the same topic.

Instead, use different, descriptive anchor text for each page:

There are words said "Irene, Seulgi, Joy, Wendy and Yeri who just joined Red Velvet in March 2015 as the fifth member" and you can directly find Irene Profile, Seulgi Profile, Joy Profile, Wendy Profile, and Yeri Profile on Channel-Korea.com Search Posts Box.

After found the Seulgi Profile article, you can copy the URL link from the Seulgi Profile article and you can start to the next step.

After do the step 2, please block the word that you want to put URL in.

After that don't forget to click the BOLD Button after put Internal Link on that word

Make Sure that you fill the words as many as you can, please more aware about URL Link that you want to put. You can put same URL more than one in one articles. For the example you can put "Irene Profile' on several paragraph.
